1. What is an 'Angel Affiliate'?
An Angel Affiliate is someone who earns commissions by referring people to our website via their own website or email or blog. 2. What are the advantages of joining the Angel Affiliate Program?
Anyone who signs up to become an Angel Affiliate earns a percentage of any Pickawoowoo published book sale they refer to us, and gets a cheque for it in the mail. This way, you can help to share your favorite pickawoowoo books and authors with your own website visitors, and earn some extra money while doing so. Quite often this may also increase your standings in search results when people search for the pickawoowoo books/ authors/ subjects you are linking to. Essentially this helps to create a dynamic community on the Web for 'Children's Spiritual Books',
3. Who can be an Affiliate?
Anyone who signs up is welcome to be an affiliate. If you have a website from a small blog to a large e-commerce site, or just want to send links via email to your friends, you can sign up and begin earning commissions today.
4. How and when do I get paid?
Commissions are paid quarterly. To simplify bookkeeping, there is currently a $5.00 quarterly commission threshhold (if you have earned less than $5.00 of commissions, your commission total rolls over into the next quarter). If your cumulative total for the whole fiscal year is under $5.00, however, you will by paid by June 30th no matter how small the total commission is at that time.
5. What portion of affiliate sales do I get to keep?
You keep 11% of every sale that is made to website visitors who reached our site via one of your links or banners.
6. Does it cost me anything?
Absolutely not. You simply earn commissions at your own leisure, and there is no up-front cost or any cost to you thereafter.
7. Do I have to have a website?
Almost all Angel Affiliates will. Some people may choose to sign up for the Angel Affiliate program and simply send out links via email. The important thing is that people must have something to click on in order to be directed to our site in order for you to earn a commission on the sale.
8. What do I put on my website?
We have ready-made logos (and banners soon) that you can post the code right into your own website code. The banners will come in a variety of sizes and aspect ratios, so you can choose the one that fits your site best, and if you paste the code in correctly whenever someone clicks the banner you'll get credit for any sale that results. From your Angel Affiliate control center (or from any book information page you view while logged in as an Angel Affiliate) you may also generate your own banners for any Pickawoowoo book, which will show a thumbnail image of the book which will give you credit for a sale when a visitor clicks it and makes a purchase (even if they buy books other than that one).
9. Do I have to use your logos/banners?
No! anything that links to our bookstore using your unique Angel Affiliate number will do the trick. For example, we can provide text versions of all our logos/ banners if you just want to link to us in the text of your web page or emails. Some people are web-gurus and can just as easy create their own banners and links which include their Angel Affiliate number (thus getting credit for sales from custom banners and links they have designed themselves).
10. How do I keep track of my Angel Affiliate activity?
When you are an Angel Affiliate and log in from the main Angel Affiliate Login page, you will be presented with an Affiliate Summary page, which gives you access to sales reports, clickthrough activity, and presents you with options for using and generating banners for use on your site.
11. Where do I sign up?
Sign up from the Angel Affiliate Login page. There you will see a "New Affiliate" option.
12. How do I log in to my account?
Log in at the Angel Affiliate Login page.
13. What if I have trouble?
Visit the Find Us page and send an email with your questions. As an Angel Affiliate, your Affiliate Summary page will present you with your own special contact-us page so we can give your queries special consideration.
14. How long will I remain an Angel Affiliate?
So far, anyone who signs up as an Angel Affiliate will remain in our system as one indefinitely. We reserve the right to remove members who show no activity for an extended length of time, but there is no quota or expiration at this time.
15. How do I cancel my Angel Affiliate membership?
Simply email us with your request from your Angel Affiliate Summary page. On the right will be a "Contact Us" link.
