Pick-a-WooWoo commenced with Julie-Ann being guided to write spiritual books for children. She then undertook serious market research in 1995 to locate a publisher who would specialise and publish this genre of books.

Alas, not one publisher could be found. There were some that had done a few Mind, Body Spirit or Spiritual books for children but only for celebrities or named names, thus ensuring no risk at all.

Having once said to herself that she would never operate another publishing company (she had owned one previously) she found herself and the Universe saying "Never say NEVER"...and as you can see Pick-a-WooWoo is now a thriving profitable publishing company and their books are available worldwide. The time it right for more of these books to be available!

Julie-Ann's Profile - Co-founder, Marketing and Operations Management.

Julie-Ann has over 25 years business management experience within various organisations including but not limited to Government (Small Business Development Corporation), not-for-profit (CEO Women's Economic Development Organisation) and her own companies (Training organisation, Business Starter's Network and Publishing Company - Innovative Business Resources).

She received many accolades for her business acumen including three times finalist in the WA Telsta Business Women of the year award. Julie-Ann believes her professional background and her love of marketing has given her the foundation and knowledge to ensure her passion and commitment of today, grows and prospers (Publisher for children's spiritual books).

Her favourite saying encompasses her pledge: "If we can guide them from an early age, they won't need to be middle age to know, many of the answers come from within".
