3. BOOK REVIEW by Lyn Nichols, Spiritual New Age Guide - May 2008
When I think about the precious gifts that we are born with and then robbed of so early in life, I feel saddened, angry and disappointed. We live in a society that is yet to see the importance of embracing and nurturing these amazing gifts, that in turn would ensure a more fulfilled and peaceful life for every one of us. I feel totally inspired to encourage our children to love and accept their amazing gifts before they, like most of us, lose them and sometimes for good! By the age of 12 most children have blocked their psychic gifts, often out of fear or misunderstanding, quite often being told by misinformed adults that what they are seeing, feeling or hearing is not real.
If we can find a way to educate and encourage the children of today to embrace who they really are, acknowledging the fact that they are really spiritual beings having an earthly experience and that the clairvoyant gifts they are witnessing are very real and very natural, we feel, this would be the biggest blessing of all, not only to our society but to all future generations.
The Pick-a-Woo Woo children’s spiritual books do just this. These 5 beautiful stories encompass spirituality completely and are written in a way that is both entertaining and educational at the same time. These gorgeous books are filled with stunning illustrations and are written in a rhyming manner that would keep any child engrossed. Within every story there is a special message that will help children to accept and nurture their spirituality.
They may even teach a few adults a thing or two!
The Pick-a-Woo Woo Books are very affordable and would be a huge asset to any family or classroom- if everyone started reading these books to their young children, the child would be sure to grow up more connected to spirit and therefore more connected to their true selves. In our eyes, these would be the luckiest children of all
