1. Why do you mainly print in softcover? Do you offer hardcover titles?
We made a decision very early in our companies humble beginnings to have a strong green policy. This entailed decisions such as minimising paper wastage which is why MOST Pickawoowoo books are softcover. We won't shock you with how much excess paper usage/wastage there is with hard covers but needless to say, wherever possible we try to minimise our imprint on the earth without compromising the quality of our titles.
2. Do you sell wholesale?
Yes, we offer wholesale accounts to any business that has an Australian Business Number (ABN). Please go to Wholesale Accounts for further information. Preferably not. If there are circumstances behind not being able to send a submission according to our guidelines then - send a 'special request' email asking whether we can accept your title on this occassion.
4. In your latest newsletter you mentioned that you will be undertaking e-books - what are they?
We were hoping that someone would ask this question. As many of you know the cost of trade publishing (bulk publishing) is extremely high and the risks are even higher. As 'spiritual books' for children are still relatively new it is still a small niche market (but growing). To ensure we can keep assisting the wonderful books and authors that cross our paths and the growing number of followers that we have - we've decided to offer e-books. E-books are exactly what you see in print but they are downloaded on screen. They are interactive, save paper, and very affordable. To read more go to E-Books & POD
