 2011 - Special Message - Please read on as there are other opportunities for you!

Thank you for being in touch with us. It may seem we are closing the door on you with our submissions closed sign – but hopefully you will see we’ve opened many windows (windows of opportunity) instead.

As a commercial publisher (trade publisher) we select 8-12 children’s spiritual book titles per year under our imprint ‘Pick-a-WooWoo’. We would dearly love to say ‘YES’ to the many other wonderful titles that come to our attention every year.

However, due to an overwhelming response to our ‘Internet submissions page’, we have been inundated with manuscripts and therefore have selected children’s and adults spiritual book titles now for  2011 & 2012. Our submissions panel are still working through the manuscripts at hand and they have requested we CLOSE our submissions page until late next year. KEEP READING all is not lost!

GREAT NEWS...we now have a division of Pick-a-WooWoo Publishers (MBS Press, Mind Body Spirit) that assists Authors to self publish...MBS Press originated out of a need to assist the many Authors that approached Pick-a-WooWoo publishers. Due to the unmanageable number of submissions each year, our directors decided to start an assisted self-publishing division of Pick-a-WooWoo that would give inspirational writers a venue to get their books out and have the publishing tools that many individuals sought. There's no need for authors to rely solely on their own knowledge or skill set to get published. The experience and connections provided through MBS Press will give authors everything they need to create and publish their books while allowing the author to maintain control of the content.

Don't stop here -  have faith and move forward. It is our quest to do anything in our power to assist you in your dream (where possible), to get your spiritual book into the market place, no matter what path you should decide to follow (through us or others).

Here are some options for you!

• Trade Publish through new initiative Authors Wish Agreement. This is a new Pick-a-WooWoo program (Jan 2010) that has opened up many doors for new and seasoned Authors. This may just be the answer to you getting published so - CLICK HERE to read further.

• MBS Press (Mind Body Spirit). Writing is a unique journey of self expression. Each Author draws on personal life experiences, individual perceptions of the world around them and from the realm of their imagination. • A commercial publisher (or trade publisher) distributes books under its own imprint. It agrees to publish manuscripts for authors, and handles the cost of producing those manuscripts: Cover and interior design, typesetting, printing, marketing, distribution, etc. The author is not expected to pay any of these costs. The books are owned by the publisher and remain in the publisher's possession until sold; the author receives a portion of sales in the form of royalties, usually around 10%. As Pick-a-WooWoo's trade publishing division is currently closed...we are happy to supply you with a listing of other children’s publishers if you choose this route.
